一、课题组简介

Piatkevich 实验室(https://www.piatkevich-lab.com/) 的研究方向是研发和设计尖端分子和成像技术，用于分析、控制和修复复杂生物系统，如大脑。设计用于光学记录和操控神经元活动的遗传编码分子工具，以及用于神经元解剖学追踪的荧光探针。这是一个跨学科研究计划，涵盖合成和化学生物学、生物工程、生物化学、生物技术、分子体内成像、神经科学、机器人和细胞生物学等领域。Piatkevich实验室将系统地应用其研发的技术来揭示脑紊乱的分子机制并揭示神经编码的基本原理。新的分子技术也会用于通过光学技术创建先进的脑机接口。

二、招聘岗位：

博士后2名

三、应聘条件：

（1）年龄不超过35岁；

（2）神经生物学，生物化学，生物工程，化学等相关领域博士学位；

（3）对研究复杂生物系统的创新分子技术工程和应用感兴趣；实验室非常需要具有电生理研究背景和技能的研究人员；具有荧光显微镜、动物处理、计算图像分析方面的专业技能；

（4）具有基金或者专利申请经验和书写能力，可以把英文科研专业申请文书转化为中文是加分项；

（5）具有较强的独立性、创造性和积极主动性；有能力和兴趣指导学生和技术人员；

Postdoc Position in the Molecular BioEngineering Group (the Piatkevich lab)

The Piatkevich lab (https://www.piatkevich-lab.com/) is a multidisciplinary research group that utilizes diverse bioengineering and biochemical approaches to develop novel molecular techniques to study complex biological systems. Our ultimate goal is to develop novel scalable technologies that will offer a new paradigm for probing both functional and structural properties of biological systems to enable a better understanding of the casual correlations between activity and structure in defined cellular ensembles. We also utilize our tools for the systematic analysis of the physiological processes in vivo. Multiple positions are available in the Piatkevich lab, including Research Assistant and Postdoctoral Researcher.

Position Type: Postdoctoral Researcher

Requirements:

1)Age under 35;

2)Have obtained or about to obtain a Ph.D. or equivalent degree; the doctoral degree can be in Neurobiology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biomedical Science, Biomedical Engineering, or other related fields;

3)Interested in engineering and application of innovative molecular technologies to study complex biological systems. Expertise in electrophysiology, neuroscience, microscopy, DNA/RNA biochemistry, and computational image analysis, or related areas will be the most competitive；

4)Experience with grant writing or patent application is a big plus；

5)Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and effectively in a highly collaborative research environment;

6)Excellent English-speaking skills and manuscript writing skills;

7)Demonstrate passion and commitment towards research in life science field; able to independently conduct research and supervise graduate students.

Compensation and Benefits

The research team offers a competitive compensation package commensurate with the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience. Applications for relevant projects and programs will be encouraged and supported.

Postdocs who are selected for China Postdoctoral Science Foundation or Advanced Programs of Zhejiang Province will be entitled to receive the same amount funds from the Hangzhou government.

Postdocs who work full-time in Hangzhou after completing their postdoc research will be eligible for applying allowance of 400,000RMB from the Hangzhou government.
