Role Description 

We are seeking to hire a highly motivated scientist with demonstrated expertise in tumor immunology to join the Oncology Research Unit. This person will characterize the activity of bi-specific redirected T-cell molecules in tumor-bearing immunocompetent mice, and explore the impact of the various immune cell subsets on T-cell mediated activity within the tumor microenvironment.

Post-doctoral fellowship available at Weill Cornell Medical College in the Brain and Mind Research Institute. The project centers on the relationship between the microbiome and multiple sclerosis. It is a multi-disciplinary project interweaving microbiology, the human microbiome, immunology and neuroscience. Applicants should have a strong background in microbiology and/or immunology and possess a Ph.D. or equivalent degree. The project involves collection and analysis of human samples from multiple body habitats using traditional microbiological approaches. The fellow will also work closely with other members of the lab on animal modeling of CNS demyelination through alteration of the microbiome.

Immediate opportunities exist for writing papers, analyzing data and helping oversee technical personnel. Experience in humoral autoimmunity, clinical immunology, data analysis and/or clinical rheumatology would be useful for the successful applicant. Educational opportunities in clinical immunology, environmental science, project management, and scientific writing would be included for the appropriate trainee.
