Job Description

The position is in a materials and nanoscience research group interested in novel materials including metal-organic frameworks, coordination polymers, and porous organic polymers. The works to be conducted include design, synthhesis and characterization of materials for applications in gas sorption for storage, gas mixture separation, hetrogeneous catalysis, heavy metal sensing and removal. The candidate should have solid chemistry background, knowledge and experience with analysis techniques like NMR, IR, X-ray diffraction, UV-Vis spectroscopy and mass spectrometry. Additional skills like modeling, computational chemistry, nanotechnology and clean room training are plus. The position is in a newly established research university in Giza, Egypt.
