Job Description
A postdoctoral position is available for the Dr. Eric Gross laboratory in the Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative and Pain Medicine at Stanford University.
The laboratory focuses on developing non-narcotic cardiac safe pain therapeutics. We are presently examining the cellular cross-talk which exists between nociceptive signaling pathways and the cellular signaling pathways which protect from ischemia-reperfusion injury.
The ideal post-doctoral candidate would have previous experience in either ischemia-reperfusion injury or pain research fields. Candidates with a strong record of productivity are encouraged to apply. The applicant will be responsible for working both independently and as part of a team, have excellent verbal and written skills, and have a strong work ethic. The candidate should also display the potential to be trained as an independent investigator and apply for independent funding when possible. |
