One postdoc position is available immediately in Dr. Grace Xiao's lab at UCLA. The research projects will explore the forefront of extracellular RNA bioinformatics and biology. Qualified candidates are expected to have a strong track record in bioinformatics, statistics, machine learning or related fields. Experience with high-throughput sequencing data analysis is preferred. As an ENCODE-funded group, the Xiao lab develops bioinformatic and genomic approaches to better understand RNA biology. The candidate is expected to work in a highly motivated multi-disciplinary team combining genomics and computational approaches with experimental techniques.
