In this role, based in the laboratory of Prof Vincent Piguet, you will be undertaking work on a number of research projects in the field of pathogens host cell interactions with a specific interest in Dendritic Cells interactions with pathogens. Pathogens considered will include HIV, Influenza and other viruses and fungi.

 

You should have a first class or 2:1 degree in a relevant discipline, and a PhD (or a student who has finished practical work and is awaiting results) in Cell Biology/Immunology or a related discipline.

 

You must have previous experience in conducting and organising research projects.

 

This full time (35 hours per week) position is available immediately and is fixed term for three years.

 

Salary: £30,728 – £36,661 per annum (Grade 6). A maximum starting salary of £33,562 per annum (point 33) applies to this post.
