A postdoctoral position is currently available on magnetoresistive (TMR, GMR) cells fabrication and characterization. We are looking for a motivated candidate with an experience in preparation of TMR or at least GMR structures. You will join a project aimed at alternative to magnetic field methods of magnetoresistance control for straintronics. The research activity will involve sample fabrication and characterization under various types of external excitations. An experience in nanofabrication, e-beam lithography as well as in magneto-optic Kerr effect (MOKE) will be an advantage.

The contract is for one-year, renewable for a second year. The beginning of the contract can be in 2014, but is flexible. The candidate should preferably be within first 3 years of postdoc experience.
