One fully funded postdoctoral position is immediately available in the laboratory of Dr. Chun-Li Zhang at UT Southwestern Medical Center. The research focus of this position is to examine neural stem cells, cellular plasticity, induced neurogenesis, and regeneration after traumatic brain or spinal cord injuries. Genetic and epigenetic approaches will be explored. Self-motivated individuals with a Ph.D. or equivalent advanced degree are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate must have a solid publication record and evidence of excellent skills in molecular and cellular neuroscience. Experience with mouse models of spinal cord or brain injuries is preferred. Salary is competitive and includes benefits.
