Job Description

The laboratory directed by Dr. Haoyi Wang at The Jackson Laboratory is recruiting applicants for a postdoctoral research position. The Wang Lab focuses on the development of novel technologies for genome and epigenome engineering, and their application on generation of disease models using mice and human stem cells as well as establishment of therapeutic methods for genetic disorders. The Jackson Laboratory (http://www.jax.org) in Bar Harbor, Maine, USA, offers a unique research and training environment characterized by scientific collaboration, unparalleled mouse resources, and outstanding core services within a spectacular setting adjacent to Acadia National Park. The Laboratory’s mission is to discover precise genomic solutions for disease and empower the global biomedical community in the shared quest to improve human health.

The position is in a collaborative, interdisciplinary, and highly translational environment at The Jackson Laboratory. The successful candidate should hold a recent Ph.D. in biological sciences with a research background in molecular biology, genetics or biochemistry. Highly-motivated candidates with research experience in genome engineering, epigenetics study, RNA research and gene therapy will be most competitive for this position.
