An NIH-funded postdoctoral position is available to investigate the role of a novel molecule in prostate cancer aggressiveness and progression in prostate cancer. Ph.D. in molecular biology, biochemistry, or other health-related disciplines is required. Candidates must possess an extensive laboratory experience and solid background in molecular biology techniques including but not limited to protein and gene expression analysis, gene-overexpression or -silencing, Real-time PCR, cloning, and site-directed mutagenesis. Experience and background in cancer research, steroid receptors, signal transduction, ubiquitin-proteasome system, and E3-ubiquitin ligases are highly desirable. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be part of a dynamic and productive research team.
