University of Pennsylvania Department of Cancer Biology Postdoctoral Fellow Brady Lab

The laboratory led by Dr. Donita Brady in the Department of Cancer Biology at the Perelman School of Medicine and Abramson Family Cancer Research Institute at the University of Pennsylvania is seeking a highly motivated and organized postdoctoral fellow. The research interests of our laboratory lie at the intersection of cancer biology, signal transduction, and metal homeostasis. 

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, enthusiastic, talented, and interested in leading a project aimed at unraveling the complete framework of metal integration into signaling networks during normal physiology and in the context of tumorigenesis. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the foundation of a new research laboratory, to participate in a dynamic research environment, gain exposure to a innovative and collegial research community within the Department of Cancer Biology and AFRCI, and the training environment is particularly suited for applicants working towards a career as an independent investigator.

A Ph.D. in biological sciences such as cancer biology, pharmacology, biochemistry, genetics, or cell biology is required. Applicant must have demonstrated the successful completion of projects during their graduate thesis studies. Applicants should have a track record of publishing first-author, peer-reviewed, research papers. Applicants should be within one year of the completion of their thesis work.
