Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey, a National Cancer Institute (NCI) Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, seeks nominations or applications from qualified clinical researchers at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to lead the management of clinical trials and care of patients receiving cell therapy including CAR-T cells for hematologic malignancies and solid tumors under the new Duncan and Nancy MacMillan Cancer Immunology and Metabolism Center of Excellence cell therapy initiative. Clinical investigators with innovative and collaborative research projects to promote translation within our robust research program of bench to bedside cancer immunotherapy and/or investigators with a record of peer reviewed funding are encouraged to apply. Minimum Education and Experience

Qualified candidates must have a MD, or MD/PhD. Rank will be commensurate with experience. 3+ years of experience in cell therapy preferred. Academic appointment will be within the Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

The Duncan and Nancy MacMillan Cancer Immunology and Metabolism Center of Excellence is establishing a world class cellular therapy program at Rutgers CINJ with a focus on investigator initiated and first-in-human cell therapy research that leverages our on-site GMP Cell Manufacturing Facility and Immune Monitoring Shared Resource. Rutgers Cancer Institute boasts one of the most comprehensive hematologic malignancies programs, which includes stem cell transplantation, and specializes in complex, high-intensity cancer care. We are a leader in basic, clinical, prevention, and public health science, offering world-class quality cancer care, providing the most advanced medicines and treatment options for patients in our health system.
