美国麻省总医院2021年招聘博士后科学家职位（计算生物学和生物信息学）

The Talkowski laboratory in the Center for Genomic Medicine (CGM) at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), Harvard Medical School (HMS), and the Broad Institute is seeking exceptional candidates in Computational Biology and Bioinformatics at the postdoctoral or research scientist level interested in directing collaborative initiatives in population genetics, human disease association, prenatal and pediatric diagnostics, and functional genomics modeling. These studies will take place within highly interdisciplinary laboratory teams and across the vibrant genomics environments of the CGM and the Program in Medical and Population Genetics (MPG), the Stanley Center for Psychiatric Research, and the Data Sciences Platform (DSP) of the Broad Institute.

Highly qualified candidates would develop top-notch computational and/or statistical genomics methods as well as perform and oversee analyses for individual projects and consortia spanning multiple institutions. Successful candidates will have demonstrated expertise in at least one of the following disciplines: human genetics, quantitative genetics, genomics, genome biology, statistics, and/or bioinformatics. Ideal candidates will possess strong programming skills, advanced knowledge of statistical methods, and expertise in the analysis of massively parallel sequencing data. The spectrum of studies include analyses of population-scale genome sequencing data (e.g., analyses in the genome aggregation database [gnomAD] or international biobanks), long-read sequencing data, and multiple studies utilizing functional genomics methods (e.g., RNAseq, single-cell RNCseq, ChIPseq, HiC, ATACseq, cell-free fetal DNA sequencing). Some experience in human genetics and genome biology is ideal. All successful candidates will display outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to contribute to a highly collaborative science environment across institutions. A Ph.D. in one of the above disciplines is required. Visa sponsorship is available.
