A postdoc position is available at Wang laboratory. This position will be working on our integrative genomics initiatives aimed at discovering oncogenes, predictive biomarkers and therapeutic targets in breast cancer from next-generation sequencing and genomic datasets. Candidate will be exposed to state-of-art biotechnologies and receive unique training on bridging cancer biology with genomics, bioinformatics and translational researches. The primary responsibilities of this position are experimental validation of newly discovered cancer genes and targets in breast cancer, confirming their oncogenicity in vitro and in vivo, and elucidating their molecular mechanisms and clinical applications. Candidate can also option to perform integrative bioinformatics analysis of multi-dimensional genomics and sequencing datasets for breast cancer. We are looking for highly motivated applicants who have a strong background and hands-on experience in molecular biology and cancer cell biology.
