POST-DOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP IN T-CELL SIGNALING AND CANCER IMMUNOTHERAPY

University of Montreal

We are looking to recruit a postdoctoral fellow to join the immunology laboratory headed by Dr. Christopher Rudd at the CR-Hôpital Maisonneuve Rosemont, a research institute affiliated with the Université de Montréal. The project uncovers T-cell signaling pathways that regulate T-cell responses to cancer and infections. We have a special interest in co-receptors such as CD28, PD-1 and CTLA- 4 in the modulation of T-cell function and anti-tumor immunity. We are looking for someone at the post-doctoral level with an established expertise in molecular biology and biochemistry with published papers as evidence of his/her accomplishments to date. Our lab uses a variety of cellular and molecular biology techniques as well as mouse models of cancer together with multi-photon microscopy to study mouse and human disease. Papers ofinterest include Liu et al., 2015 Molecular Cell 59, 840-849; Taylor et al 2016 Immunity, 44, 274-86; Krueger J and Rudd CE. (2017) Immunity 46, 529-531; Raab et al. (2017) Nat Commun. 8, 16001; Taylor et al. (2018) Cancer Research 78, 706-717; Thaker et al (2019) Nat Commun.10:4804; Rudd (2020) Science Immunol. 5(43):eaaz8128; Rudd et al. (2020) Cell Rep. 30, 2075-2082].

Qualifications: PhD or MD with expertise in molecular biology and/or biochemistry with an interest in immunology

Salary: To be negotiated dependent on experience ($30,000-55,000)
