Institute for Systems Biology (ISB)

Institute for Systems Biology (ISB) is seeking highly-motivated postdoctoral candidates in the areas of cancer biology and immuno-oncology. The Postdoctoral Fellow will work, under the supervision of Drs. Heath and Wei, on several fundamental and technological challenges associated with advancing personalized TCR-engineered cancer immunotherapies. They are expected to leverage an innovative set of bioengineered molecules and technical tools to build a high-throughput, low-bias approach for identifying Class I and Class II truncal neoantigens, the cognate TCR sequences, and the anti-tumor functional characteristics of those selective T cells with the goal to develop a discovery-based approach in which the TCRa/ß genes, the neoantigens, and the MHC alleles are all identified in one experiment, using a simple blood draw.

Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Biology, Biological or Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, or other related areas. They should have demonstrated the ability or potential to conduct interdisciplinary research with good communication skills and a strong publication record. Candidates with research experiences in cancer immunology, cancer biotechnology and/or single-cell technologies and computational methods are strongly preferred. About the Institute for Systems Biology (ISB)
