Job Description

Shang Wang lab in the department of Biomedical Engineering at Stevens Institute of Technology has an immediate opening for Postdoctoral Researcher to develop advanced multi-contrast optical coherence tomography (OCT) imaging techniques for the study of developmental biology. We have a multidisciplinary research and training environment focused on developing novel optical imaging techniques and applying them to gain biological insights. The postdoctoral researcher will have a unique opportunity to establish new and innovative imaging capabilities based on OCT and study the fascinating dynamics of biological development in the mouse model. Requirement:

Ph.D. in a relevant scientific discipline is required, for example, electrical engineering, applied physics, biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, etc.

Candidates with experience related to OCT, optical instrumentation, optical imaging, functional imaging, system control, data acquisition, or image processing will be highly competitive.

Candidates without prior experience in imaging or biology but are motivated to develop a career in the interdisciplinary field of bioimaging are very welcome to apply.
