For the Hyper-Kamiokande and T2K-II projects, the successful candidate will have to play a leading role in the construction of detection equipments for the distant detector and the design and commissioning of new near detectors of these experiments. He or she will also actively participate in the analyzes of the first data from the new T2K-II measurement campaign and in the supervision of doctoral students and interns.

For the Super-K experiment, the successful candidate could contribute to the analyzes of the data of our new measurement campaign with gadolinium and an increase in the sensitivity of the experiment for the detection of antineutrinos.

The results obtained during the postdoctoral position will be presented by the successful candidate at international conferences and published in peer- reviewed journals.

A 24-month postdoctoral fellowship in Japan funded by CNRS/IN2P3 is available in the field of neutrino physics in the ILANCE laboratory on the campus of the University of Tokyo.

This call for applications concerns a postdoctoral position within the Super-K, T2K or Hyper-Kamiokande experiments. The choice of one of these experiences will be left to the future selected candidate. Their fields of research are numerous and at the forefront of research in the field of high energies. They range from CP symmetry violation to studies of supernova explosions.

Candidates must have obtained a PhD in experimental physics and have substantial experience in participating in one or more high-energy physics experiments. Computer software skills and a good knowledge of C++ are desirable.
